Khandavi

Ingredients:

  1. Gram Flour: 1 bowl
  2. Buttermilk: 3 bowl
  3. Salt: to taste
  4. Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
  5. Oil: 2 tbsp
  6. Curry Leaves: 8-10
  7. Mustard Seeds: 1/2 tsp
  8. Red Chili Powder: 1/4 tsp
  9. Ginger: 1 Inch
  10. Coconut: 2 tbsp
  11. Green Chili: 1
  12. Chopped Coriander Leaves: 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix Ginger,Chili,Coconut and salt.
  2. Make paste of it.
  3. For tadka,Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves and mustard seeds.When they began to crackle,remove it from the flame and put it in a bowl.
  4. Add Besan,Buttermilk,salt and turmeric Powder.
  5. Put it in a Pan and stir it continuously.
  6. We have to stir it until the spoon get fixed in the batter.
  7. Put it on a plate(Backside of plate) and spread it properly.
  8. First spread it completely.
  9. Spread the paste on it.
  10. Take the first plate and cut it in stripes with the knife.
  11. Roll the strips one by one.
  12. Put all these in a plate and spread the tadka on it.
  13. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
  14. Serve it with Tamrind chutny and Dhania chutny.
