Kheer

Ingredients:

  1. Milk : 2 kg
  2. Rice : 2 tbsp
  3. Sugar : 1 cup
  4. Drynuts : 2 tbsp
  5. Saffron soaked in 1/2 tsp milk : 8-10 flakes
  6. Cardamom Powder : 1/4 tsp

Method :

  1. Take a heavy pan and grease it. Pour milk in it and keep it for boiling.
  2. Cook it till milk becomes half a quantity.
  3. Soak rice for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat water in a pan and add soaked rice in it. Boil it until water evaporates completely.
  5. Add boiled milk in it. Rice should be very soft now. Now take 3-4 boils add sugar then take 2-3 boils. Also add saffron.
  6. Take 1 portion in a serving bowl and garnish it with drynuts.
