Vada

Ingredients:

  1. Urad Moger: 1 bowl
  2. Green Chili: 2
  3. Chopped Coriander Leaves: 2 tbsp
  4. Salt: to taste
  5. Ginger chopped or shreaded : 1 inch
  6. Oil : For frying

Method:

  1. Soak the Dal 1 night before like 8-10 hours.
  2. Make the paste of it.
  3. Add all the ingredients and make the batter.
  4. For frying, heat oil in a pan.
  5. Spread some water on palm and put 1 tsp batter in circle form.
  6. Apply water on 1 finger and make a hole in the circle.
  7. Spread water on another palm.
  8. Try to push the circle from one hand to another and then finally in Pan.
  9. Deep fry the vadas on medium flame.
  10. Serve it hot with nariyal chutny and sambhar.

P.S. –  If you want to make it for snacks add some more masalas into the batter like half pressed fennel seeds and whole coriander.
