Matar Palak Malayi

Time : 25 minutes

Servings : 4

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled Palak Paste : 1 1/2 cup
  2. Ginger paste : 1 tsp
  3. Garilc Paste : 1 tsp
  4. Tomato Paste : 1/2 cup
  5. Onion Paste : 1/2 cup
  6. Peas : 1 cup
  7. Oil : 2 tbsp
  8. Kasoori Methi : 1 1/2 tsp
  9. Black Pepper Powder : 1/2 tsp
  10. Long : 4
  11. Dalchini : 1
  12. Choti Elaichi : 2
  13. Salt : to taste
  14. Red Chili Powder : 1 tsp
  15. Sugar : 1/2 tsp
  16. Cream : 1 tbsp
  17. Butter : to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add kasoori methi followed by long , elaichi and dalchini.Add Peas.
  3. Stir it for 2-3 secs.
  4. Add Ginger garlic chili and onion paste.saute it for 5-10 minutes on low flame.
  5. Add black pepper powder.Stir it for 5 -10 secs.
  6. Add tomato paste.
  7. Add the remaining masalas like Red chili powder, salt and sugar.Saute it for 10 minutes.
  8. Add palak and cream.
  9. Stir it for 10-15 minutes.
  10. Add butter and serve it hot with chapaties or pulao.

P.S. –

  1. If you are using fresh peas then boil it before use.If you are using frozen peas then keep it outside for 5 minutes and wash it before use.
  2. Always make this dish on low flame.
