Time : 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 Big Brinjal: 1
- Onion chopped : 3 medium
- Tomato : 2
- Oil : 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder : 1/4 tsp
- Red chili Powder : 1 tsp
- Salt : to taste
- Ginger : 1/2 tsp shredded
- Garlic : 6-7 shredded
- Green Chili : 1 chopped
- Garam Masala : a pinch
- Degi Mirch Powder : 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Roast Brinjal on Burner.Turn it in every 30 seconds.
- The cover will start coming out.Put the brinjal in cold water.
- Remove its cover, mesh it and keep it for cooling.
- Cut the tomatoes in 2 pieces and boil it in water for few minutes until its skin starts coming out.
- Take tomatoes out and mesh it completely.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add chopped onions.Saute it for 5-10 minutes until it changes its colour.
- Add meshed tomatoes , garlic and ginger into it.
- Saute it for 2-3 minutes.
- Mesh the tomatoes again with the help of spoon.
- Saute it until it start separating the oil.
- Add all the masalas and again saute it for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the meshed brinjal into it.
- Mesh it again with spoon so that masala and brinjal can mix together.
- Cover it and cook it for 5-10 minutes on low flame.
- Serve it hot with butter, chopped onions and hot paranthas.
Note: If you love peas,you can add boiled peas also before step 14.
