Ingredients:
For Saagu Masala:
- Coconut grated : 2 tsp
- Poppy Seeds : 1/2 tsp
- Kadla : 2 tsp
- Green Chili : 2
- Garlic : 5
- Ginger : 1/2 inch
- Laung: 3-4
- Black Pepper: 4
- Dalchini : 1
For curry and tempering:
- Boiled Mixed Veg (Cabbage+Pea+Carrot+Potato) : 1 medium Bowl
- Oil : 2 tbsp
- Onion chopped : 1 large
- Curry Leaves : 10-12
- Salt : to taste
- Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp
- Curd: 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds : 1/2 tsp
- Hing : 1 pinch
Method:
- Grind all the masalas listed in saagu masala in grinder.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.Sate it for 1 minute.
- Add chopped onions.Saute it for 5-8 minutes.
- Add Turmeric Powder and hing.
- Saute it for 1 minute.
- Add the grinded masala in it and saute it for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Now add all the boiled vegetables in it.
- Add 1 cup water,salt and keep it for boiling.
- Garnish it with Curd and serve it hot with poori/Parantha or chapati.
Note:
If you are serving it with parantha, make it a little thick.
