Ingredients:

For Saagu Masala:

  1. Coconut grated : 2 tsp
  2. Poppy Seeds : 1/2 tsp
  3. Kadla : 2 tsp
  4. Green Chili : 2
  5. Garlic : 5
  6. Ginger : 1/2 inch
  7. Laung: 3-4
  8. Black Pepper: 4
  9. Dalchini : 1

For curry and tempering:

  1. Boiled Mixed Veg (Cabbage+Pea+Carrot+Potato) : 1 medium Bowl
  2. Oil : 2 tbsp
  3. Onion chopped : 1 large
  4. Curry Leaves : 10-12
  5. Salt : to taste
  6. Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp
  7. Curd: 1 tbsp
  8. Mustard seeds : 1/2 tsp
  9. Hing : 1 pinch

Method:

  1. Grind all the masalas listed in saagu masala in grinder.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.Sate it for 1 minute.
  3. Add chopped onions.Saute it for 5-8 minutes.
  4. Add Turmeric Powder and hing.
  5. Saute it for 1 minute.
  6. Add the grinded masala in it and saute it for 5  minutes on low flame.
  7. Now add all the boiled vegetables in it.
  8. Add 1 cup water,salt and keep it for boiling.
  9. Garnish it with Curd and serve it hot with poori/Parantha or chapati.

Note:

If you are serving it with parantha, make it a little thick.
