Ingredients:
- Tomato roughly chopped : 3 medium
- Onion roughly chopped : 1 medium
- Garlic smashed : 4 cloves
- Oil : 1 tsp
- Ghee/Butter : 1 tsp
- Carrot roughly chopped : 1 medium
- Coriander Stem : 4-5
- Coriander Leaves chopped : 1 tsp
- Moong dal (without chilka) soaked for 1/2 an hour: 1/2 tbsp
- Rice soaked for 1/2 an hour : 1/2 tbsp
- Salt : to taste
- Black Pepper Powder : 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Heat oil and ghee/butter in a pan.
- Add garlic, saute it for 1/2 minute.
- Add onion and carrot, saute it for 2 minutes.
- Add dal,rice,tomato,black pepper, salt, coriander stem and 2 cups of water.
- Mix it well.
- Boil it take 2-3 whistles.
- Cool it for 10 minutes and grind it.
- Strain it and keep it for boiling.
- Boil for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish it with Coriander leaves.
- Serve it with fried bread crumbs.
Note:
Always check sourness of tomato before using.
If it is too much sour , can remove the seeds of it and use only flash.
If you like the taste of mint,tulsi/basil , can garnish with it.
