Malayi Sandesh

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer : 100-120 gm
  2. Malayi : 4 tbsp
  3. Saffron dipped in rose water : 8-10
  4. Pista Flakes : 15-20
  5. Dry coconut Powder : 2 tbsp
  6. Sugar Powder : 4 tbsp
  7. Essence (Kewra/Rose/Vanila)-4-5 drops or Cardamom powder (1/4 tsp)

Method :

  1. Click Here to make paneer at home.
  2. Use the fresh paneer and mesh it properly.
  3. Mesh it almost for 20 -25 minutes.
  4. Soak saffron in the rose water.
  5. Also add sugar powder while meshing so that it will mix properly.
  6. You can add different different essence like vanila/ rose/ kewra  or cardamom powder etc while meshing and mixing sugar.
  7. Make small small balls/laddoos and put them in a serving dish.
  8. Make a layer of malayi on top of it.
  9. Sprinkle coconut powder on it.
  10. Put a pinch of saffron and garnish it with pista flakes.

Note :

You can garnish with tutti fruti and chopped dry fruits.

If you don’t have saffron, you can use the edible colours.

Always consume this sweet in 1-2 days.
