Ingredients:
- Samvat Rice : 3 tbsp
- Ground nuts : 1 tbsp
- Oil : 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds :1/4 tsp
- Green Chili chopped : 1/2 tbsp
- Carrot chopped : 2 tbsp
- Tomato chopped : 1 tbsp
- Luke Warm Water : 100 ml
- Chopped coriander leaves : 1 tbsp
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and ground nuts.
- Add samvat rice and roast it for 5- 6 minutes.
- Add all the vegs and saute it for 5 minutes.
- Add salt and water.
- Cover it and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
- Serve it hot with any pickle/plain curd or chutney.
Note :
You can have this upma in fast too, just replace the normal salt with Sendha Namak.
To make it a little crunchy, you can add roasted and chopped ground nuts(1/2 tsp).
