Ingredients:
- Potato 2
- Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Hing 1 pinch
- Red chili Powder ½ tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
- Dry Mango Powder ½ tsp
- Coriander Powder 1 tsp
- Slited Green Chili 2-3
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add hing, within few seconds add cumin seeds, When they begin to change colour, add green chili.
- Keep it on low flame for 1 minute then add potatoes…sprinkle turmeric powder and salt.
- Cover it for 5- 10 minutes until the potatoes became soft.
- Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and dry mango powder.Keep it for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve it hot with Paranthas.
Note:
- If you like the taste/fragrance of kari patta leaves,add it before adding the cumin seeds.
- If you want to make it spicy add green chilies instead of increasing red chili powder.
- If you want to give it north Indian taste don’t use karri patta leaves.
