Ingredients:
For Stuffing:
- Bathua finely Chopped : 2 cup
- Sattu/Roasted Besan : 4 tbsp
- Onion chopped : 1 large
- Oil : 2 tbsp
- Dry Mango Powder : 1/4 tsp
- Red chili Powder : 1 tsp
- Salt : to taste
- Dry Ginger Powder : 1/2 tsp
Method:
For Stuffing:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add Onion and saute it for 10 – 15 minutes on low flame.
- Add Bathua and salt.
- Cover it and keep it for 10 minutes on low flame.
- Add all the masalas and sattu.
- Mix it well.
- Do not cover it.Cook it for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Take it in a bowl and make 8 portions of it like balls.
- Now this is ready for stuffing.
- Stuff it like the same way we do for other stuffed paranthas.
- Serve it hot with Curd or Dhania Pudina Chutny.
Note:
Always make the dough very soft.It helps you in rolling.
Carom seeds, increase the taste and help in digestion, can add 1/4 tsp of it in making dough (Wheat flour : 1 1/2 cup).
