Ingredients:
- Beetroot grated : 1 medium size
- Onion chopped : 1
- Green Chili chopped : 1
- Curry Patta : 15-20
- Mustard Seeds Black : 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seeds : 1/2 tsp
- Oil : 1 tbsp
- Hing : 1/8 tsp
- Salt : to taste
- Coriander Leaves chopped : 1 tbsp
- Sesame Seeds powder : 1 tsp
- Anardana Powder : 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala : 1/4 tsp
- Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
- Moong Dal dhuli hui / Moong Moger : 2 tbsp
Method:
- Soak dal in water for half an hour.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add hing, mustard seeds and cumin seeds.When they began to change the colour,Add Curry Patta and green chili.
- Add Onion and saute it for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric Powder, Dal.
- Add grated beetroot .Cover it and keep it for 5-10 minutes.
- Stir it meanwhile.
- When beetroot is cooked add coriander powder ,salt,garam masala, sesame powder and anardana.
- Stir it for 1-2 minute.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve it hot with chapati and rice.
