Ingredients:
- Karela: 1 big piece
- Oil: 2 1/2 tbsp
- Roasted Cumin Powder: 1/2 tsp
- Besan: 2 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
- Chopped Coriander Leaves: 1 tbsp
- Dry Mango Powder: 1/4 tsp
- Salt: to taste
Method:
- Peel karela and dont through the skin.
- Wash it properly.
- Slit karela from 1 side as we have to stuff the masala in it.
- Cut it into big pieces.
- Take the karela skin in a bowl and add all the masalas into it.
- Add 1 tbsp oil in it.
- Heat the oil in a pressure cooker.Add the karelas in it.
- Cover it and take only 1 whistle.
Note:
No doubt it will be a little bitter in taste.
You can add sattu instead of Besan.
Remember, when you are ready to cook at that time only cut the karela. Dont keep if for a long time.
If you want to make it sweet,You can add little bit of sugar in masala.
