Besan ke Bharwan Karele

Ingredients:

  1. Karela: 1 big piece
  2. Oil: 2 1/2 tbsp
  3. Roasted Cumin Powder: 1/2 tsp
  4. Besan: 2 tbsp
  5. Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
  7. Chopped Coriander Leaves: 1 tbsp
  8. Dry Mango Powder: 1/4 tsp
  9. Salt: to taste

Method:

  1. Peel karela and dont through the skin.
  2. Wash it properly.
  3. Slit karela from 1 side as we have to stuff the masala in it.
  4. Cut it into big pieces.
  5. Take the karela skin in a bowl and add all the masalas into it.
  6. Add 1 tbsp oil in it.
  7. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker.Add the karelas in it.
  8. Cover it and take only 1 whistle.

Note:

No doubt it will be a little bitter in taste.

You can add sattu instead of Besan.

Remember, when you are ready to cook at that time only cut the karela. Dont keep if for a long time.

If you want to make it sweet,You can add little bit of sugar in masala.
