Bhajiya/Pakoda Chat

Ingredients:

  1. Besan : 2 tbsp
  2. Red Chili Powder : 1/4 tsp
  3. Turmeirc Powder : 1/8 tsp
  4. Ajwaiyn : 1/4 tsp
  5. Hing : a pinch
  6. Curd : 2 tbsp
  7. Chat masala for garnishing
  8. Chopped onion: 2 tbsp
  9. Chopped coriander leaves : 1 tsp
  10. Oil : for frying
  11. Salt : to taste

Method:

  1. Put hing in 1/2 tsp of water for 1 -2 minutes.
  2. Take besan in a medium bowl and add red chili powder + turmeric powder + ajwaiyn + salt and hing water.
  3. Mix well and add water to make the paste.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Take 1 tsp hot oil and add this to the batter.
  6. Once oil become hot put the pakodas in small small quatity.
  7. Turn it side by side.
  8. Deep fry the pakodas until it became golden brown.
  9. Put it on a tissue paper.
  10. Take 1 serving plate and break the pakodas in it.
  11. Spread 1 tbsp curd on it.
  12. Add dhania chutny and tamrind chutny on it.
  13. Add chopped onions too.
  14. Sprinkle chat masala on it.
  15. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  16. Serve it hot.

Note:

For better taste, we can add vegetables(carrot/onion/cabbage/potato) in Pakoda batter.

To make it crispy, we can add rice flour (1 tsp) in the batter.
