Ingredients:

  1. Urad dal : 1/4 tbsp
  2. Moong Dal : 1/4 tbsp
  3. Masoor Dal : 1/4 tbsp
  4. Arhar Dal : 1/8 tbsp
  5. Chana Dal : 1/8 tbsp
  6. Ghee : 1 tbsp
  7. Oil : 1 tbsp
  8. Hing : 1 pinch
  9. Green Chili : 1 chopped
  10. Ginger Garlic Paste : 1/4 tsp
  11. Tomato : 1 medium chopped
  12. Onion : 1 medium chopped
  13. Red chili Powder : 1 tsp
  14. Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp
  15. Salt : to taste
  16. Lemon Juice : 1/4 tsp
  17. Chopped coriander leaves : 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Mix all dal.
  2. Soak it in water for 15 minutes.
  3. Add turmeric powder,salt and oil into dal and boil it for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Heat oil and ghee in a pan.
  5. Add hing, green chili and onion.
  6. Saute it on low flame for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Add tomato saute it for 5 minutes.
  8. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it for 1 minute.
  9. Add all the masala.
  10. Add this masala into boiled dal and boil it again for 5-10 minutes on medium flame.
  11. Add water according the consistency you want.
  12. Add lemon juice.
  13. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
  14. Pour 1/2 tsp of ghee on it.
  15. Serve it hot with jeera rice or chapati.
