Ingredients:
- Moong Dal : 1 cup
- Turmeric Powder : 1/2 cup
- Salt : to taste
- Onion Chopped : 3 medium
- Green Chili chopped : 4
- Garlic Chopped : 1 tsp
- Ginger Chopped : 1 tsp
- Coriander Leaves chopped : 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Method:
- Boil Dal with turmeric powder and salt.If possible soak it for 15 minutes before cooking.
- Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds.
- Add onions after 1 minute add garlic chili and ginger.
- Saute it until onions became light brown / golden.
- Add this tadka into boiled dal.
- Stir it and keep it for boiling.
- Check the consistency and add required water.
- Garnish it with Coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice or paranthas.
Note:
Make it little thick when you are serving it with rice.
