Dal Soup

Serving: 2 Time: 20 minutes Ingredients:

  1. Masoor Dal : 1 1/2 tbsp
  2. Chana Dal : 1 1/2 tbsp
  3. Onion roughly chopped : 1 medium
  4. Lemon juice : 1/2 tsp
  5. Butter : 2 tsp
  6. Tomato roughly chopped : 1
  7. Black Pepper Powder : 1/4 tsp
  8. Cumin Seeds : 1/4 tsp
  9. Coriander Leaves chopped : 1 tsp
  10. Salt : to taste
  11. Water : 3 cup

Method:

  1. Soak the dals for 2 hours.
  2. Heal Butter in a pan, add cumin seeds then onion.
  3. Once it become little pink, add dals,tomato,salt and water.
  4. Cover it and take 2-3 whistles.
  5. Strain it and again keep it for boiling only for 2 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle Lemon juice.
  7. Garnish it with coriander leaves  and serve it hot.

Note: You can garnish it with mint leaves too.
