Dry Aloo Pyaj/Hara Pyaj (Spring Onion)

Ingredients:

  1. Aloo medium                        : 2
  2. Onion medium                     :2 (If it is spring onion,1 bundle finely chopped )
  3. Dry Mango Powder             : 1/3 tsp
  4. Oil                                          : 1 tbsp
  5. Hing                                       : 1 pinch
  6. Mustard Seeds                     : 1/4 tsp
  7. Cumin Seeds                         : 1/4 tsp
  8. Red Chili Powder                  : 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander Powder                : 1 tsp
  10. Turmeric Powder                 : 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt                                         : to taste
  12. Coriander Leaves chopped : 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan.Add hing, mustard seeds and cumin seeds.When they began to change the colour,Add Aloo and Pyaj.
  2. Cook it on low flame.
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Cover it for 10- 15 minutes.
  5. Add rest masalas and dry mango powder too.
  6. Cover it for 5-10 minutes on low flame.
  7. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with chapati and parantha.
