Ingredients:
- Milk 1 Kg
- Custard Powder 40 gms
- Sugar 6 tbsp
- Saffron 7-8
- Pomegranate/Anar 1 bowl
- Chopped Medium size Apple 1
- Grapes(Black + Green) sliced ½ bowl
- Sliced medium size Banana 2
- Chopped medium size Mango 1
- Cherry (green + orange) 2 tsp
- Chopped Papaya ½ bowl
- Chiku vertically sliced ½ bowl
- Chopped Cashew nuts 1 tbsp
- Almond 5-6
Method:
- Soak the almonds in hot water.
- Soak the saffron in 1 tsp of milk.
- Mix custard powder with 6 tbsp of milk taken from 1 Kg milk, to form a paste.
- Boil the remaining milk and then add sugar.
- Add custard paste slowly to the boiling milk, stirring continuously for 1-2 minutes.
- Peal the almonds and shred it.
- Let it cool and eat it as is or add to fruit, cake, jelly, ice cream mix, saffron, cashew nuts and almond etc.
Note:
- I used weikfield custard powder (vanilla flavour); you can try other flavours too.
- Do not use watermelon while adding the fruits.
- If you don’t have pomegranate you can used red cherry.
- If you want to make it thick, can increase the quantity of fruits or type of fruits like kiwi and strawberry.
