Ingredients:
- Oats : 3/4 cups
- Potatoes,boiled, peeled and mashed : 2 medium
- Salt : to taste
- Red chilli powder : 1/4 tsp
- Onion ,finely chopped : 1 medium
- Garam masala powder : 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala : 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves,chopped : 2 tbsp
- Carrot,grated : 1/4 cup
- Refined flour (maida) : 2 tbsp
- Oil For shallow frying
Method:
- Mix potatoes, salt, red chilli powder, onion, garam masala powder, chaat masala, coriander leaves, carrot and four tablespoons oats in a bowl.
- In another bowl,Add 3 tablespoons water to the refined flour and make a thick batter.
- Spread the remaining oats evenly on a plate.Divide the potato mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into tikkis.
- Dip them in the batter and roll in oats and set aside.
- Heat a non-stick tawa, and shallow-fry the tikkis on medium heat, turning sides, till golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Note:
You can use corn flakes also instead of Oats.
