Ingredients :
- Washed and Soaked Moong dal for 5-6 hours : 1 1/2 cup
- Sugar : 2 cup
- Water : 3 cup
- Ghee : 3/4 cup
- Saffron : 5-6 flakes
- Cardamom Powder : a pinch
- Fresh Cream : optional
Method :
- Boil sugar, water, cardamom and saffron till 2-3 boils and take it out from pan.
- Take a pan. Grease it. Now put fine paste of dal and roast it till it becomes light brown in colour on medium flame.
- Now add sugar water with one hand and stir it with another till there is little bit oil/ghee in corner.
- Roast it. Take it out, garnish with drynuts and serve hot.
