Moong Masoor Dal

Time: 15-20 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Moong: 2 tbsp
  2. Masoor Dal: 1 tbsp
  3. ChoppedGreen Chili: 1
  4. Garlic: 4-5 cloves
  5. Oil: 1 tbsp
  6. Hing: 1 pinch
  7. Salt: to taste
  8. Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
  9. Red Chili Powder: 1/2 tsp
  10. Lemon juice: 1/2 tsp
  11. Chopped coriander leaves: 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak dal in water for almost 10-15 minutes.
  2. Put it in pressure cooker and boil it with Salt, green chili and turmeric And a little bit of Oil.
  3. Boil it and keep it aside.
  4. For tadka,Heat oil in a pan add hing , cumin seeds …add red chili powder with water.
  5. Add shredded garlic. Cook it for few minutes.
  6. Add tadka into dal and cook it for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Add lemon juice into it.
  8. Garnish it with corinader leaves.
  9. Serve it hot with butter and paranthas or rice.

Note:

If you like currypatta, you can add that too in tadka.
