Pyaj Wali Dal

Ingredients:

  1. Mix Dal : 2 tbsp
  2. Onion Chopped : 1 medium
  3. Salt : to taste
  4. Turmeric Powder : 1/4 tsp
  5. Oil/ghee : 1 tbsp
  6. Chopped coriander leaves : 1/4 tsp
  7. Lemon : 2-3 drop
  8. Hing : 1 pinch
  9. Cumin seeds : 1/4 tsp
  10. GInger grated : 1/2 tsp
  11. Red chili powder : 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak dal for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Boil in in cooker with turmeric powder, salt and little bit of oil.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add hing, cumin seeds and then add chopped onion.
  5. Saute it for 5 minutes.
  6. Add grated ginger into it.
  7. Add red chili powder and add this tadka into boiled dal.
  8. Boil it for 5-10 minutes.
  9. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Serve it hot with paranthas or poori.
