Simple Turai

Ingredients:

  1. Turai: Cut it in strips 2 bowls
  2. Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
  3. Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
  4. Coriander Powder : 3/4 tsp
  5. Dry Mango Powder: 1/4 tsp
  6. Mustard Seeds: 1/4 tsp
  7. Asafoetida/Hing: 1 pinch
  8. Cumin Seeds: 1/4 tsp
  9. Oil: 1 tbsp
  10. Salt: to taste
  11. Chopped Coriander Leaves: 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat the Oil in a pan.
  2. Add hing…after 2-3 secs add Mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  3. Add Turai.Sprinkle Turmeric Powder and salt.Cover it and leave it on low flame for 15 mins.
  4. Add all the remaining masalas.
  5. Garnish it with Chopped Coriander Leaves and serve it hot with chapaties.

Note:

You can make it for fast too just replace the normal salt with sainda namak.
