Veg Oats Upma

Ingredients:

  1. Oats : 1 cup
  2. Green Chili chopped : 2 tsp
  3. Onion chopped : 1/2 cup
  4. Carrot chopped : 1/2 tbsp
  5. Curry Leaves : 10-12
  6. Oil : 2 tbsp
  7. Cumin Seeds : 1/2 tsp
  8. Moong Moger : 1/2 tsp
  9. Moongfali : 1 tbsp
  10. Salt : to taste
  11. Chopped Coriander Leaves : 1 1/2 tbsp
  12. Water : 1 1/2 glass

Method :

  1. Roast Oats ina  apn without oil.Keep it aside for cooling.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds.Let it crackle.
  3. Add moong dal and groundnuts.
  4. Add all the vegs and curry leaves.
  5. Saute it for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Add water and keep it for boiling.
  7. Add roasted oats.
  8. Cover it and keep it for 5 – 10 minutes on low flame.
  9. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot.

P.S. – If you are want to use Peas then don’t add Groundnuts.
